Our social accountability program, “Tools 4 Schools,” which partners Applewood residents and staff with the Freehold Borough School District, is now an award winner!

LeadingAge New Jersey, the statewide association of senior care organizations, made the announcement November 7. “Tools 4 Schools” was selected from nominations submitted across the state.

“Thank you to the volunteers who donated supplies or their time to the schools directly, resident association president Ginny Allen; T4S coordinator, Helen Coons; and resident services coordinator, Joan Cinque,” said Keith Grady, executive director at Applewood.

“Seniors play a vibrant role in improving their communities, and we could not be more pleased to be acknowledged for this effort.”
