Applewood’s Wellness Center: On-site and around-the-corner healthcare
At Applewood, residents benefit from ready access to compassionate, quality healthcare services, which include assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing services. Through The Wellness Center, Applewood residents are eligible to receive essential health care services necessary to receive a quick diagnosis, laboratory services, or check-up.
Every Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, residents have access to a wide range of medical professionals, including a gerontologist, ophthalmologist, and even a podiatrist. Residents are asked to call in advance to schedule an appointment with one of the on-site doctors for laboratory work, which is done on Thursday mornings. Of course, in the case of an emergency, Applewood has a nurse on duty 24-hours a day to provide care and advice.
